Dad: Put the six on the seven.
Girl: [click] Okay.
Dad: Now put the five on the six.
Girl: [Click] Okay. Now what?
Dad: Click for a new one.
Girl: [Click] Now what?
Dad: That’s a jack. Put it on the queen. That lady down there with the crown.
Girl: [Click] This one?
Dad: No, she’s the queen of clubs. You want the hearts, that one with the red hearts.
Girl: [Click] You’re good at this. How come you’re so good?
Dad: I practice a lot at work.
Girl: Now what?
Dad: Click for a new one. [Thinks: And when she starts learning fractions, I can teach her to mix cocktails, and when she learns probability, I can teach her poker and win back her allowance, yay!]
